Jones stays on The Bowerman Watch List

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Terrence Jones remained on The Bowerman's Watch List second update of the season, the organization announced Thursday afternoon.

Terrence Jones, who ran the 200m for just the second time in over two years last Saturday afternoon, won the Big 12 title with a time of 20.21 to lead the country. His 200m season-opener was at Kansas State where he ran a 20.57.

On top of leading the country in the 200m, he also holds the nation's top 60m time at 6.47. He will look to defend his 60m national title next weekend in Boston. In 2023, Jones clocked a prelims time of 6.54 before running a 6.46 for the title, becoming Tech's first national champion in the event.

The next Watch List update will be released on March 21.
