Riley Love named to NFCA All-Region Team

LUBBOCK, Texas – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association released its 2024 NFCA division I All-Region teams on Saturday. Red Raider third baseman Riley Love was named to the All-Central Region Third Team for her performance this season.

Love had a career year setting highs in every offensive category on her way to being named to the All-Big 12 Second Team. She was also named a top 10 third baseman all season according to Softball America.
Love led the team in home runs, RBIs, slugging percentage and total bases and was top 10 in the Big 12 in all of those categories.

The Big 12 had the fifth-most selections with 32. The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's 10 regions with first, second and third-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominated student-athletes (eight maximum) and voted for the teams. All awarded student-athletes now become eligible for the 2024 NFCA Division I All-America squads.
