Softball releases full schedule for 2026 season

The Red Raiders will have 19 games at home including four Big 12 series
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech softball announced its full schedule for the 2026 season on Tuesday. The schedule features 19 home games, including four Big 12 series, 15 neutral-site games and 21 away games. All game times listed below are central time.
The Red Raiders will open their season on Feb. 5 against McNeese in Lake Charles for the McNeese Tournament at 6 p.m. followed by two games on Feb. 6 against Jacksonville State (10 a.m.) and North Texas (12:30 p.m.).
Tech will have a quick turnaround as they head to College Station for the Texas A&M Tournament where they will play Providence (4:30 p.m.) and Texas A&M (7 p.m.) on Feb. 7 and end with a game against Providence (10 a.m.) on Feb. 8.
Following those tournaments, Tech will go to Clearwater, Florida for the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational Presented by EvoShield Shield on Feb. 12-15. Tech will face Florida State (12 p.m.) and Northwestern (5 p.m.) on Thursday followed by a game against FAU (3 p.m.) on Friday. On Saturday, the Red Raiders will play NC State (noon) and James Madison (3:30 p.m.) before ending the invitational with a Sunday night game against Nebraska (5 p.m.).
The Red Raiders will play in another big tournament as they head to the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in Cathedral City, California on Feb. 19-22. Tech will open the tournament against Fresno State (5:30 p.m.) followed by an exhibition against Team Japan (8 p.m.). Tech will play one game on Friday against Bethune Cookman (12:30 p.m.) before two games on Saturday against Cal State Fullerton (2 p.m.) and San Diego State (4:30 p.m.). The Red Raiders will close their time in California against UC Riverside (11 a.m.).
Red Raider fans will then get to see their team play at Rocky Johnson Field in the annual Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic on Feb. 26–March 1. Tech will host Abilene Christian (5 p.m.) on Thursday and North Texas (5 p.m.) on Friday before playing Texas A&M Corpus Christi (11:30 a.m.) and Detroit Mercy (4:30 p.m.) on Saturday. The Red Raiders will end their tournament against Texas A&M Corpus Christi (11:30 a.m.) and North Texas (1:30 p.m.).
Tech will then begin Big 12 play but still have several midweeks on the schedule beginning with a game at Tarleton State (6 p.m.).
On their way to UCF, the Red Raiders will make stops at Stetson (4 p.m.) on March 17 and Florida State on March 18 (5 p.m.). Tarleton State will come to Lubbock on March 24 (6 p.m.) before the home series against Iowa State and then Tech will make the short trip to Abilene to take on ACU on March 31 (6 p.m.).
Following their series against Utah, the Red Raiders will face Utah State on April 13 (3 p.m.) before closing their non-conference schedule with a doubleheader against UTEP on April 22 (TBD).
