TULSA, Okla. – The Texas Tech men's golf team maintained its position of seventh place on the team leaderboard on Wednesday at the 2025 Big 12 Men's Golf Championship, carding a third-round 7-over-par 287 at Southern Hill Country Club. The Red Raiders, who played 36 holes on the opening day of the championship, sat in a four-way tie for seventh place among the 16-team field on Tuesday after play concluded, remained in that spot but in solo seventh after 54 holes.
The Red Raiders' third round 7-over-par was a collection of countable scores between Connor Graham (71, +1), Charlie DeLong (71, +1), Tim Wiedemeyer (72, +2) and Calum Scott (73, +3). Their 7-over-par tied for the sixth-lowest score among of the teams in action. Oklahoma State had the best day at 4-under-par 276, which helped vault the Cowboys into first place heading into Thursday's final round.
Graham, a freshman, continues to pace Texas Tech. He is tied for 10th place at 4-over-par after 54 holes. His third round began on the back nine, as it did for each of the Red Raiders on Wednesday, and saw him shoot 1-over-par after a pair of Par 4 bogeys and one birdie on the Par 4, 15th hole. He steadied on the next nine, carding nine pars on the front side to end his day 1-over on the par 70 course.
Scott and Wiedemeyer are tied for 30th after 54 holes. Scott, who was in 30th after two rounds, remained in that spot after shooting 3-over-par 73 while Wiedemeyer moved up the leaderboard four spots by shooting his low score of the tournament so far, a 2-over-par 72.Â
DeLong also had his best round at Southern Hills Country Club thus far on Wednesday, firing a 1-over-71, following opening rounds of 78 (+8) and 74 (+4) on Tuesday. The senior is tied for 47th.
With the threat of inclement weather on Thursday, tee times were pushed up 30 minutes, having teams start the final round as early as 7 a.m. CDT. Texas Tech will be one of those teams, having Price Hill, the first of its five in Thursday's lineup to tee off at 7 a.m. With it being 12-minute intervals again, Graham will be last to tee off at 7:48 a.m.
