Red Raiders hold steady in week three rankings

Texas Tech remains No. 2 after 5-0 weekend
LUBBOCK, Texas – The big four softball rankings finished releasing on Tuesday which featured an unchanging rank for the Red Raiders who sit at No. 2 in the country.
D1Softball and Softball America have Tech at No. 3 and No. 2, respectively, while the more national recognized polls of NFCA and USA Softball have Tech at No. 2. The Red Raiders improved to 16-1 on the season after an undefeated weekend in the Mary Nutter Classic.
Tech will play in its first home games of the season this weekend starting with a 5 p.m. game on Thursday night against Abilene Christian. Although season tickets are sold out, fans are encouraged to still come as tickets can be purchased at the gate.
