Texas Tech moves in updated rankings
April 14, 2026 | Softball
Red Raiders now ranked 2, 3 and 4 across four major polls
SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The week 10 rankings came out earlier today with the Red Raiders falling from their number one spot after dropping a game against Utah this past weekend. Tech is ranked No. 2/3 in the NFCA and ESPN/USA Softball polls and No. 3/4 in the D1Softball and Softball America polls.
The Red Raiders are on the tail end of their six games in six days stretch including a series win over Utah and a wild deficit turned run-rule win yesterday against Utah State. Tech will face UTSA tonight and Texas State tomorrow night before getting the weekend off.
The Red Raiders reached 40 wins for the second-straight season, just the second time they've done that, the first being the 2011-12 seasons.
UP NEXT: The Red Raiders will be back in Texas to face UTSA tonight at 6 p.m. in San Antonio.
