March Is Athletic Training Month
March 28, 2001 AUSTIN, Texas - Governor Rick Perry has proclaimed March as Athletic Training Month in the State of Texas. The atheltic staff would like to honor the training staff at Texas Tech for the outstanding jobs they do to enusre the well-being of Red Raider athletes. The training staff at Texas Tech is headed by Natalie Steadman, (Assistant AD/Sports Health), Mark Shermansky (Head Football Trainer), Mark Chisum (Assistant Atheltic Trainer), David Steadman (Assistant Athletic Trainer), John Murray (Assistant Athletic Trainer) and Imelda Garcia (Assistant Athletic Trainer). The training staff is assisted by graduate assistants Mathu Allen, Brian Stock and Ariana McMillian as well as several student assistants. |
