Red Raider Club To Host Golf Outings In Dallas and Houston
May 4, 2001 LUBBOCK, Texas - The Red Raider Club will host the 2001 Metroplex Red Raider Golf Classic on Monday, May 7 and the Greater Houston Classic on May 8 with members of the Texas Tech coaching staff and administration in attendance. The 2001 Metroplex Red Raider Golf Classic will be held at the Bridlewood Golf Club in Flower Mound beginning at noon on Monday, May 7. Head football coach Mike Leach along with assistants Dave Brown, Art Briles, Sonny Dykes and Dana Holgorsen will join head men's golf coach Greg Sands and Red Raider great E.J. Holub at the event. The 2001 Greater Houston Red Raider Golf Classic will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8 at the River Ridge Golf Club in Sealy. Representing the Texas Tech Athletics Department at the event will be head football coach Mike Leach and assistants Art Briles, Sonny Dykes, Dana Holgorsen, Ron Harris, Robert Anae and Ruffin McNeil. Head men's golf coach Greg Sands, E.J. Holub and Dave Parks will round out those in attendance at this annual event.
