Statement from Big 12 Conference Interim Commissioner Dave Martin
August 4, 1998 "The Big 12 Conference is aware of the findings and penalties which were announced today by the NCAA in the Texas Tech case and is relieved that the matter has been resolved. Consistent with conference policy, we will not comment on the substance of those findings or penalties. The conference will, however, continue to assist the institution in its development of a comprehensive institutional compliance program." |
