Ticket Office Extends Hours
Aug. 25, 2000 LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Athletic Ticket Office has extended its hours for today until 7 p.m. for fans to purchase tickets for the football game against New Mexico. The ticket office will also be open on Saturday, Aug. 26 beginning at 9 a.m. until halftime of the game. "In hopes that the blackout will be lifted, our office will remain open until 7 p.m. tonight to assist in that effort," said Russell Warren, Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations. Texas Tech opens the season in the Transamerica Hispanic College Fund Classic on Saturday against New Mexico. The game is slated for a 7 p.m. kickoff in Jones SBC Stadium.
