What is TexasTech.TV?
TexasTech.TV is the central destination for all of Texas Tech's digital video content on the web and through mobile applications (iOS and Android). Texas Tech TV is the combination of live video and audio events as well as on-demand.
Is a subscription required?
Yes and No. The majority of our live content requires a subscription. On-Demand content is free.
I am already a subscriber to All-Access. Does this affect me?
Good news! As a current subscriber to All-Access, nothing will change for you. The subscription service remains a product of Texas Tech's All-Access platform through CBS College Sports Network so current subscribers will have immediate access to Texas Tech TV on their desktops and by web browser on their iPhone, iPad or Android devices.
Can I watch Texas Tech TV on my Apple or Android product?
Yes. You can watch Texas Tech TV on Apple or Android products by visiting TexasTech.TV on a web browser or you can connect via the mobile applications. If you wish to watch live video, a subscription is required. At this time Live event and on-demand content is all that is available on mobile devices or through the app. Live non-event (i.e. news conferences, luncheons etc.) is not available.
Is there a Texas Tech TV App?
Yes. Log on to the APP store and search for "Red Raider Gameday LIVE."
Can I watch live football games on Texas Tech TV?
The Big 12 Conference permits each member institution the right to televise one game per season as part of the third-tier agreement. Texas Tech TV will stream that one football game but it will be blacked out in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma due to the fact that Texas Tech has a third-tier agreement with Fox Sports.
Can I watch other live football coverage on Texas Tech TV?
Yes. For all home games, Texas Tech will stream a live pre-game show, the halftime performance of the Goin' Band From Raiderland and the Texas Tech postgame news conference.
What is On-Demand content?
On-Demand content is all content with the exception of live events and is available and ready at your command. Daily features on student-athletes, coaches, teams and special events will be available on Texas Tech TV.
What LIVE sporting events will be shown on Texas Tech TV?
Football: One game per season, however the stream will be subject to blackouts in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Spring Football Game: The game will be streamed online at TexasTech.TV and through the mobile applications. If the game is selected by Texas Tech TV on FOX, the stream will be subject to blackouts in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Men's Basketball: This will vary. Home games that are televised on Texas Tech TV on FOX will also be streamed online (TexasTech.TV or mobile applications). However that stream will be subject to blackouts in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Home games that are televised as part of the Big 12 Conference package will not be streamed at TexasTech.TV.
Women's Basketball: This will vary. Home games that are televised on Texas Tech on FOX will also be streamed online (TexasTech.TV). However that stream will be subject to blackouts in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Games that are televised as part of the Big 12 Conference package will not be streamed at TexasTechTV.com. What other live events will be available on Texas Tech TV?
