TTUHSC Sports Medicine Fellowship
Texas Tech Sports Medicine has a formal collaboration with TTUHSC Family Medicine’s Sports Medicine Fellowship, which is designed for physicians who have completed residency training and are interested in gaining additional specialty training in Sports Medicine. As part of the program, the fellows work alongside our team physicians providing care to our student-athletes. The fellows are responsible for evaluating Texas Tech student-athletes and developing treatment plans for both general medical and sport-related conditions, illnesses, and injuries.

Please note that Texas Tech Athletics does not formally participate in the selection of fellows. TTUHSC Family Medicine manages that process. One of our team physicians, Dr. Jennifer Mitchell, a Professor and Fellow of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, is the Program Director for the Sports Medicine Fellowship.
