Briggs Suspended Indefinitely

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech defensive back Derrick Briggs has been suspended indefinitely for violation of team policy, according to an announcement by head coach Spike Dykes.

Briggs, a sophomore from Dayton, Texas was a regular member of the defensive backfield rotation and Red Raider special teams. He had played in all eight games this season, recording 17 tackles and intercepting a pass.
