Baseball's Fall Red-Black Series to Begin Friday

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech baseball and head coach Larry Hays annual fall Red-Black series will begin this Friday at Dan Law Field at 3:30 p.m. These games are the first opportunity for Texas Tech baseball fans to see the 18 newcomers along with 10 walk-ons. Last year, Texas Tech finished 44-20 and won the Big 12 Conference Tournament championship.
Hays divides the squad into two different teams- the Red and the Black teams and the two squads play a nine inning game each scheduled day. The Raiders will not play on Sunday while the Saturday time is at 10 a.m.
The public is invited to attend. All games will be played at Texas Techs Dan Law Field.
