Big 12 Announces Oct. 17 TV Plans

DALLAS, Texas - One televised game for Saturday, Oct. 17, has been designated by 12-day advance notice for Big 12 Conference football games. The other two games will be announced via six-day advance in an option exercised by ABC Sports.

FOX Sports Net will televise the Kansas at Nebraska game from Lincoln, Neb., at 6 p.m. (CDT) on the 17th.

ABC will choose from either Oklahoma State at Kansas State or Texas Tech at Colorado for the 2:30 p.m. (CDT) regional telecast. The Big 12 Conference Game of the Week in over-the-air syndication at 11:30 a.m. (CDT) on the Oct. 17 will be either OSU-Kansas State or Texas Tech-Colorado after ABC makes its choice.

Later telecasts for conference teams will be announced on six- or 12-day notice as the season continues.
