PALO ALTO, Calif. - In honor of this year's WNBA season, Bonus.com the SuperSite for Kids (http://www.bonus.com) has launched a special feature for sports fans who want to sneak onto the court and interview one of the top women's players in pro basketball.
Beginning today, former Texas Tech all-American Sheryl Swoopes, star forward of the Houston Comets, is just a mouse click away for kids who visit the SuperSite. Children can learn about Swoopes' journey to the WNBA and get the latest information about her recent games.
Additionally, Swoopes, an athlete and role model for children, will personally answer questions from kids.
Children are invited to stop by Bonus.com's "Sports Action" where they can read interviews, try their hand at names created especially for Swoopes' fans and pose questions to Swoopes.
Veteran sports writer Greg Brown, creator of Swoopes' book "Bounce Back," will post a series of interviews for Bonus.com visitors.
In addition, Swoopes, one of the top players in the WNBA, will also provide her fans with regular updates from the court. To top it off, kids can submit their own questions to Swoopes. Questions will be accepted through Aug. 14.
