Lady Raider Basketball Team to Hold Annual Awards Banquet

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Lady Raider basketball team will hold their annual awards banquet on April 21, 1998 at 7 p.m. in the Civic Center Banquet Hall.

Tickets will go on sale Saturday at Raider Alley following the Texas Tech Red/Black football srimmage. Tickets will also be available at the Texas Tech Athletic Ticket Office beginning Monday. Ticket prices are $12.50 per person or $110 for a table of eight. Reserved tables are on a first-come, first-serve basis as they are sold. The deadline for reservations is Friday, April 17. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

The Lady Raiders finished the 1997-98 season with an overall record of 26-5 and a 15-1 mark in Big 12 play. They won the Big 12 regular season championship and the Big 12 tournament title before making their ninth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance.
