LUBBOCK, Texas -
Texas Tech vs. TCU December 9, 1998 Post Game Press Conference
Katrisa ONeal
"Coach told me to go in and make something happen and that is what I try to do every time I take the floor. After I got my first steal, I think the adrenaline really started to flow and I went from there."
Angie Braziel
"Our guards are doing a great job getting the ball down low and we have been able to kick it out and get some good looks on the perimeter as well. I feel comfortable when I am double and triple teamed because I know that opens up the other side. Keitha does a great job posting up and getting open shots."
Head Coach Marsha Sharp
"I think we played a good basketball team tonight. They shot the ball well from the perimeter which we knew they would. We played well in the first half and in the second part of the second half to extend our lead. I was disappointed with the start of the second half but you have to credit TCU because they tried to change the pace of the game. I am really proud of Angie. I think she is becoming a big go to player. We know that if we can keep her on the floor, she has the opportunity to put up a lot of points."
On Depth of Bench
"This is the deepest I have ever gone to. I think nine was the most I have ever used. What is really good about that is that any of those players could start. They can give us some looks that a starter would give us."
On TCU
"TCU is really going to make some noise in the WAC. I hope they go out and win a lot of games. That would help us out in the power rankings. I have been real impressed since I started watching film."
