Lady Raiders Open Basketball Practice Saturday Morning

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Lady Raider basketball team opens the 1998-99 season with the first day of practice scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17. The Lady Raiders will hold two practices on Saturday at 10 a.m. and again at 4 p.m. Both practices are to take place in the Women's Gym on the campus of Texas Tech and will last approximately two hours. On Sunday, the Lady Raiders' practice begins at 3 p.m. in the Women's Gym. All practices are open to the public.

Texas Tech opens the exhibition season on Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. CT against the Houston Jaguars in Lubbock Municipal Coliseum. The regular season begins on Nov. 15 against Texas-Arlington.
