While in the SWC, Coach Sharp and the Lady Raiders never finished below third, they won or shared the last five championships, and they captured three Post Season Classic titles. Sharp captured her 350th career victory during the 1997 NCAA Tournament when on March 16 Tech defeated Montana, 47-45, in Palo Alto, Calif.
A 1974 graduate of Wayland Baptist University, Sharp was named National Coach of the Year in 1993 and 1994. She also reaped SWC Coach of the Year honors seven times, five consecutively. Sharp needs 12 victories to eclipse the 400 career-win mark.

Wrap-Up of the TTU-Baylor Game
Junior forward Keitha Dickerson hit a 17-foot jumper as time expired, leading No. 8 Texas Tech to a 51-49 victory Saturday over Baylor. The Lady Raiders (12-1, 1-0 Big 12) trailed 44-41 with 2:33 remaining. But Tech went on an 8-2 run, including five points by Rene Hanebutt and Melinda Schmucker's 3-pointer, to take a 49-46 lead with 1:01 left. Schmucker had a chance to put the game out of reach, but missed a free throw with 28.2 seconds left. She then fouled Lara Webb at the other end of the floor as Webb attempted a 3-pointer. Webb hit all three free throws with 22.5 seconds left to tie them. Webb then knocked the ball away from Tech's Angie Braziel on the baseline with five seconds to go. But Braziel recovered and passed to Dickerson just beyond the free-throw line for the winning shot.
Braziel led Tech with 17 points, and had 11 rebounds for Tech. Dickerson had 10 points and a career-high 16 rebounds.
Danielle Crockrum led Baylor (8-4, 0-1) with 12 points and eight rebounds. Webb and Monica Arnold added 12 points apiece for the Lady Bears.
Both teams shot poorly, hitting just 33 percent from the field.
