No. 6 Lady Raiders Suffer Upset to Kansas, 55-45

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) - Lynn Pride scored 19 points, and Kansas held No. 6 Texas Tech to 33-percent shooting and upset the Lady Raiders 55-45 Saturday for its 18th straight home-court victory.
Kansas (14-6, 4-3 Big 12) shot 50 percent from the floor in the second half, and Pride made a key play when she stole the ball and scored on a layup to put the Jayhawks ahead 38-31 with 9:20 left.
Brooke Reves made several key offensive and defensive plays for the Jayhawks in the final 10 minutes, and finished with 11 points and eight rebounds.
Nakia Sanford added 11 points for Kansas, and Jaclyn Johnson had 10 rebounds.
Angie Braziel led the Lady Raiders (17-2, 6-1) with 15 points and eight rebounds. Julie Lake added 11 points.
Kansas outrebounded the Lady Raiders 43-28.
Kansas' home winning streak is the sixth longest streak in the nation.
