Red Raider Softball Team Breaks Top 20

LUBBOCK, Texas - After entering the national polls for the first time last week, the Texas Tech softball team continues to steadily climb. This week the team is in the #19 spot, up four positions from last week's #23 ranking.
The Red Raiders are currently 35-11 overall and 3-1 in Big 12 play. Last weekend Tech posted a victory over Kansas and took two from defending Big 12 Champions and eighth-ranked Missouri.
Tech is in Abilene today to face ACU in a doubleheader that begins at 2 p.m. The Red Raiders will return to the Berl Huffman Complex on Saturday as they host crucial Big 12 games against #10 Oklahoma State on Saturday and #4 Oklahoma on Sunday. Doubleheader action will begin at noon on both days.
