LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's soccer program signed Jennifer Hronek (Phoenix, Ariz./Paradise Valley H.S.) to a National-Letter-of-Intent. Hronek joins three other players who have signed with the Texas Tech women's soccer program including freshman Jennifer Alfred (Tucson, Ariz.), freshman Lindsey Wile (Austin, Texas) and Alabama-Birmingham sophomore transfer Carrie Graham (Dallas, Texas).
"Jennifer is one of those players who can make an immediate impact on our program," Texas Tech women's soccer coach Felix Oskam said. "She has great vision on the field, is technically sound and makes the right decisions. She heads the ball extremely well and is very confident in what she does. I am very excited to have this caliber of player join our team."
Hronek, a five-foot-eight midfielder out of Paradise Valley High School in Phoenix, Ariz., enters Texas Tech with outstanding credentials. A two-year All State and four-year All Region selection (honorable mention as a freshman) from her center midfield position, Hronek led Paradise Valley to state runner-up honors in the Class 5A state tournament. Hronek has lead Paradise Valley to four state final four appearances in her high school career. She also played club soccer with the Sereno "Classic" Golden Eagles squad that won four Arizona state championships.
