Tech Soccer, Big 12, announce league slate

The Red Raiders will play host to five different league foes in 2026 including Colorado, Baylor and West Virginia
LUBBOCK, Texas – Fresh off its third-straight NCAA Round of 32 appearance, Texas Tech Soccer in conjunction with a league-wide release, announced its 2026 Big 12 Soccer scheduled Monday afternoon.
Fresh off another strong 7-1-3 campaign in 2025, the Red Raiders led by 20-year head coach Tom Stone have won 23 of their last 29 Big 12 contests and are an impressive 23-2-7 in those fixtures.
Looking for another NCAA Tournament appearance, Texas Tech opens its 2026 league slate on the road for the second-straight season as the Red Raiders will head east to UCF for a Thursday night date in Orlando with the Knights (Sept. 17).
After a mini-bye that Sunday, the Red Raiders will return home for the Big 12 home opener on Sept. 24 against Cincinnati.
The Cincinnati match opens a three-match homestand for the Red Raiders who will also play host to Colorado (Sept. 27) and Arizona State (Oct. 2) on the three-match homestand.
Following the three-match home swing, the Red Raiders will hit the road on Oct. 8 for a three straight at Oklahoma State (Oct. 8), at TCU (Oct. 11) and at BYU (Oct. 16).
With just four total matches remaining in the regular season, the Red Raiders welcome the Mountaineers of West Virginia on Oct. 22. The home matchup with the Mountaineers will be the first since the 2022 season.
Tech will return back to the State of Utah on Oct. 25 for a Sunday afternoon road match at Utah before the final home match of the regular season arrives on Friday night, Oct. 30, against Baylor.
The Red Raiders will close the 2026 regular season on Thursday night, November 5th, at Kansas.
Texas Tech returns a strong roster led by All-Big 12 selections Kylie Bahr and Taylor Zdrojewski as well as the projected returns of Chloe Soto and Kaitlyn Giametta who both missed the 2025 season with knee injuries.
Tech was also busy in the portal, as coach Stone brought in BYU transfer Abbi Sine as well as former FSU starting goalkeeper and two-time national champion Addie Todd to combine with a strong eight-player freshman class.
The top-eight finishers int he final 2026 Big 12 standings will advance to the league's 2026 Big 12 Tournament Presented by AllState. The Tournamnet will be contested Nov. 9-14 at a site to be determined.
