LUBBOCK, Texas - For the second time today, the Texas Tech women?s basketball team received another preseason ranking for the 1999-00 season. The Lady Raiders are ranked 13th by the Women?s Basketball News Service. Early today, the Lady Raiders were ranked 15th by Athlon Sports College Basketball Magazine.
Two of Tech?s opponents this year and two possible opponents were selected as one of the top 25 teams by the WBNS, UCLA (second), Iowa State (seventh), North Carolina (10th) and Nebraska (19th).
