Lady Raiders Receive Another Preseason Ranking

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women?s basketball team received another preseason ranking for the 1999-00 season. The Lady Raiders are ranked 22nd by The Women?s Basketball Journal. Earlier this month, the Lady Raiders were ranked 13th by the Women?s Basketball News Service and 15th by Athlon Sports College Basketball Magazine.
Three of Tech?s opponents this year and three possible opponents were selected as one of the top 25 teams by the WBJ, UCLA (fourth), Iowa State (fifth), North Carolina (eighth), Kansas (14th), LSU (16th) and Texas (19th).
