Red Raider Soccer Holds Annual Banquet

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's soccer team held its annual end of the year banquet tonight at the Four Points Sheraton.
The evening began with dinner followed by the awards presentation. Sophomore forward Carrie Graham was named the team's Most Valuable Player as she led the Red Raiders in goals (eight) and points (18), while ranking second on the team in shots (63) and shots-on-goal (31) last season. Senior defender Cece Dillon received the Fighting Heart award (coaches award) and junior forward Debra Smith won the Highest Grade Point Average award. The banquet concluded with the showing of the highlight video of the 1999 season in which the Red Raiders finished 8-11-1.
