Lady Raiders Hold Longest Current Home Streak

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball team now holds the longest current home-court winning streak in Division I women's basketball with 37-straight home victories.

Grambling, which did hold the longest current streak of 68, was beaten last Saturday, Jan. 6 by Southern University, 80-70. Tennessee holds the record for most consecutive home wins at 69 followed by Grambling and Auburn with 68.

Kent University currently stands in second for current home-court winning streaks with 36 victories.

The Lady Raiders' streak will be put on the line this Wednesday as they take on undefeated Baylor (13-0/2-0 Big 12) at 7 p.m. at United Spirit Arena.
