Women's Basketball to Hold Scrimmage

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball team will hold an intrasquad scrimmage this Thursday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. in the United Spirit Arena.

This will be the only scrimmage before the Lady Raiders have their first exhibition game on Monday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. against the Denmark Select team. The Denmark Select team has replaced the Cassovia Bardjov (Slovakia) team, who Tech was originally scheduled to play.

Tech will open the 2001-02 season Nov. 11 at Duke in the State Farm Tip-Off Classic at noon CST on ESPN.
