Tech Soccer Continues Spring Season

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech soccer team continued spring action this past weekend at home, winning one match and tying another on Sunday at R.P. Fuller Stadium on the Tech campus.
The Red Raiders played '84 Jato Image club team to a 3-3 tie Sunday morning, with Cie Hernandez, Rachel Mavris and Kerri Campbell each accounting for a Tech goal.
Sunday afternoon Tech defeated Angelo State, 8-1, including four goals from senior-to-be Carrie Graham. Lindsey Scott, Ellen McNamara, Melanie Brosnahan and Campbell all had one goal in the victory.
The Red Raiders play Rio FC, a club team from Albuquerque, on Sunday, April 8, at R.P. Fuller Stadium in their next spring action.
