Tickets Available for Dykes' Ceremony in Houston

LUBBOCK, Texas - Tickets are on sale for the Touchdown Club of Houston's annual banquet, which will honor former Texas Tech football coach Spike Dykes. Dykes will receive the club's Touchdowner of the Year Award on August 16.
Tickets are $35 each or $350 or $500 for a table of 10. The banquet will be held at the JW Marriott at 51550 Westheimer in Houston and will begin at 7 p.m.
Speaking on Dykes at the gala will be former Texas Tech athletic director T Jones, former Texas Tech and Texas coach David McWilliams, former Texas coach Darrell Royal, former BYU coach LaVell Edwards, Rice head coach Ken Hatfield, former Texas A&M coach Emory Bellard and Texas Football Magazine founder Dave Campbell.
Former winners of the Touchdowner of the Year Award include Tom Landry, Bear Bryant, Gordon Wood, Jess Neely, Earl Campbell, Bill Yeoman and Royal.
Also recognized at the banquet will be the All-Greater Houston High School Football Team.
