Fans Invited to Jones SBC Stadium Open House

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech football fans will have the opportunity to see first-hand the new stadium amenities this season at the Jones SBC Stadium Open House on Mon., Aug. 27, from 6-8 p.m.
The Open House will give the public a chance to see the new entrances to seating sections, the new concessions stands and restrooms, and the reduced-priced new Family Section at the north end of the stadium.
"We want to give our fans a chance to get acclimated to the changes in the stadium before the start of the season," said Director of Athletics Gerald Myers.
The concession areas will supply a limited number of complimentary hot dogs, pizza, barbeque, popcorn and soft drinks.
Entry into the stadium for the Open House event will be on the west side only. Parking is available in the Lubbock Municipal Coliseum and Frazier Pavilion lots. There will be no parking available on the east side of the stadium. The Texas Tech Ticket Office will be open during the event.
