Women's Clinic Reaches Limit

LUBBOCK, Texas - Dennis Simmons, Texas Tech Assistant Athletic Director for Quality Control, announced today that the first annual Texas Tech Football 101 Clinic for Women has reached its signee limit.
The camp, which will be held at the United Spirit Arena on Aug. 9, will host 368 participants. The event will run from 6-9 p.m.
"We couldn't be happier with the response we've received," Simmons said. "Coach Leach and the coaching staff are looking forward to sharing their knowledge of the game."
Texas Tech head football coach Mike Leach will open the clinic with a pregame speech followed by three hours of football instruction by members of the Red Raider coaching staff.
