Texas Tech-UTEP Football Game Moved to Saturday

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech and UTEP's athletics directors announced this afternoon that Thursday night's football game in El Paso has been postponed to Saturday at 8:05 (CT), pending a conference call by the conference commissioners of the NCAA Division I-A football leagues.
Tech's Gerald Myers and UTEP's Bob Stull came to the decision by phone Tuesday afternoon. The two said a final decision would be made following the commissioner's conference call Wednesday morning.
UTEP officials said tickets purchased for Thursday night will be honored on Saturday.
More information will be released as it is received.
