Texas Tech Proceeds with Weekend Events

LUBBOCK, Texas - In conjunction with the Big 12 Conference release this afternoon, Texas Tech University will move toward resuming athletic competition this weekend, pending final travel arrangements.
The Texas Tech football team is scheduled to play UTEP in El Paso at 8:05 p.m. (CDT) Saturday, but the University will evaluate the travel plan and listen to input from the student-athletes before making a final decision sometime prior to noon on Thursday.
Other teams scheduled to compete this weekend include: soccer, women's golf and volleyball.
