LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech football team practiced for two hours Tuesday afternoon on the grass practice field southeast of Jones SBC Stadium. The team began installing the game plan for Saturday's game against North Texas.
The Red Raiders and the Mean Green kickoff at 7:05 p.m. (CT) at Texas Stadium in Irving.
According the Texas Tech head coach Mike Leach, the Red Raiders had a good workout and returned their focus to the field.
"We had a positive practice this afternoon," Leach said. "The guys were focused and ready today. After an emotional week, it was therapeutic for the guys to get back to a regular routine and focus on football."
Texas Tech spent much of the workout installing Saturday's game plan and worked the offensive and defensive units against the scout teams. The special teams ran a 20-minute session midway through practice.
