Lady Raiders Get Preseason Rankings from Three More Publications

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball team received three more preseason rankings for the 2001-02 season. Women's Basketball Magazine ranks the Lady Raiders fourth, while SLAM Magazine has them seventh and Athlon's ranks them ninth. Tech was ranked fifth by Women's Basketball News Service earlier this month.
Seven of Tech's opponents this year, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, Duke, Iowa State, Baylor, Colorado and Texas, are ranked in one or more of the polls listed below.
Women's Basketball Magazine also lists 6-5 freshman Cisti Greenwalt (Clovis, N.M.) as one of its top six freshmen in the country.
