Fireworks Show Set for Kansas Game

LUBBOCK, Texas - The fireworks are back.

Another 10-minute post-game fireworks display will eliminate parking around Memorial Circle on the Texas Tech campus for the Red Raiders' Big 12 football home opener against Kansas Saturday night.

Dubbed the Patriotic Fireworks Show, the event will be similar to the fireworks display following the season-opening New Mexico game.

Fireworks will be launched from Memorial Circle, located in the middle of the Texas Tech campus, immediately following the conclusion of the game. Because Memorial Circle will serve as a secured area, no parking will be allowed around the circle for the game.
