LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech continued game week preparations Tuesday afternoon with a 2 ? hour practice on the grass practice fields east of the Athletic Training Center.

"We were good on both sides of the ball today," Red Raider head coach Mike Leach said. "We were pretty sharp. We need another good one tomorrow and we'll be in good shape."

The Red Raiders spent the afternoon working on offensive and defensive drills and putting in time against New Mexico play schemes against the scout team.

The Red Raiders practice Wed., Sept. 9, at 3 p.m. on the grass fields.
