LUBBOCK, Texas - Welcome to ESPN.com's moderated chat room. On Wednesday, Texas Tech senior running back Ricky Williams will drop by to take your questions on the upcoming East-West Shrine Bowl (Saturday, 1:30 p.m. ET, ESPN2), his senior season and more.
Williams helped lead Texas Tech to a 7-5 overall record and a 4-4 mark in Big 12 action, rushing for 726 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also caught a school-record 93 passes for 700 yards and four touchdowns. Texas Tech won two games over ranked opponents (No. 22 Kansas State and No. 24 Texas A&M) for the first time since the 1997 season but came up short in the final game of the season, a 19-16 loss to Iowa in the Sylvania Alamo Bowl.
Williams, who overcame a near career-ending knee injury in 1999, is only the second player in school history to rush and receive for more than 1,000 yards. He has 3,691 career rushing yards and 1,164 career receiving yards.
Williams will not be stopping by until 10 a.m. CT on Wednesday but you can send your questions now and we will save them for his arrival.
