LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball coaches will hold their 2002 Nike Clinic Sunday, Oct. 27 at the United Spirit Arena. The clinic will run from 1-5 p.m. with several guest speakers in attendance.
Those scheduled to speak are Texas Tech head women's basketball coach Marsha Sharp and high school coaches Samantha Morrow (Summitt High School Mansfield, Texas), Danny Wren (Plainview High School), and Leland Bearden (Smyer High School). Also speaking will be Tory Stephens, the Lady Raiders' strength and conditioning coach with a special appearance by Texas Tech head men's basketball coach Bob Knight.
The day will begin with registration from Noon-12:45 p.m. followed by the clinic. The cost of the clinic is $80 for staff pre-registration - up to four people and each additional staff member is $10; and $40 pre-registration for one person. Registration deadline is Friday, Oct. 18. The cost for registration at the door will be $50.
