Tech Earns No. 23 Ranking In Coaches Poll

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech baseball team made its first appearance of the season in the ESPN/Baseball Weekly Coaches Poll today as the Red Raiders debuted at No. 23.
The Red Raiders have been ranked in both the Collegiate Baseball Magazine Top 30 and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Top 30 and have been the top vote getters on two different occasions in the ESPN/Baseball Weekly Poll.
A total of seven Big 12 teams are ranked in this week's poll as Baylor leads the pack at No. 9 followed by No. 13 Nebraska, No. 14 Texas, No. 20 Oklahoma State, No. 21 Texas A&M, No 22 Oklahoma and No. 23 Texas Tech.
