LUBBOCK, Texas - On Thursday, Texas Tech baseball coach Larry Hays will join us to discuss the Red Raiders' chances in this season's NCAA Baseball Championships.
Hays, currently the sixth winningest active head coach in the NCAA with 1,319 career wins, has guided Texas Tech to its eighth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and the eighth appearance in school history. The eight year streak is currently the longest active streak among Big 12 schools.
Hays has amassed 625 wins in his 16 years at Texas Tech and is the school's all-time winningest head coach. Texas Tech will compete in the 2002 NCAA Regionals being hosted by Rice University at Reckling Park in Houston, Texas May 31-June 2.
