Greathouse Named Co-Special Teams Player of the Week

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Big 12 Conference announced today that senior punter Clinton Greathouse (Roswell, N.M.) has been named co-special teams player of the week for his performance in Texas Tech's 42-28 win over Mississippi last weekend.
Greathouse placed four of five punts against Mississippi inside the Rebel 6-yard line, including a career-long 67-yarder that bounced out at the UM 1. Following the game, Tech coaches credited Greathouse's play as the deciding factor in the win. Greathouse also averaged a career-best 51.7 yards per kick and logged four touchbacks on kickoffs.
For his career, Greathouse ranks third at Tech with a 40.4 yards per punt career average.
