Big 12 Announces Women's Basketball Schedule

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball team's 2002-03 schedule has been set as the Big 12 Conference office released its portion of the schedule.
The Lady Raiders will open league play on Jan. 8 at Texas A&M and conclude the season by hosting Kansas State on March 6. Tech's other home conference games this season include: Baylor (Jan. 11), Oklahoma State (Jan. 18), Missouri (Jan. 28), Iowa State (Feb. 9), Texas A&M (Feb. 12), Oklahoma (Feb. 19) and Texas (Mar. 2). Other road games for Tech will be Oklahoma (Jan. 15), Texas (Jan. 22), Colorado (Jan. 25), Kansas (Feb. 1), Baylor (Feb. 15), Oklahoma State (Feb. 22) and Nebraska (Feb. 26).
Tech's schedule includes seven national television appearances. The Lady Raiders will square off with Louisiana Tech on Nov. 10 in the State Farm Tip-Off Classic at 11:30 a.m. CST on ESPN2. Tech will also play Iowa State on ESPN2. Five games will be played on Fox Sports Net with home contests with Washington (Nov. 24), Oklahoma State, Texas and Kansas State and a road game at Colorado.
