Tech Baseball First Pitch Luncheon SOLD OUT

LUBBOCK, Texas - The 2003 Texas Tech Baseball First Pitch Luncheon sponsored by the Tech Hecklers has reached sellout status for the second consecutive year as more than 500 tickets have been purchased.
The luncheon, now in its second year, has attracted over 500 people who will get to hear remarks from baseball head coach Larry Hays, softball head coach Bobby Reeves and major league baseball great Orel Hershiser.
The luncheon will feature a silent auction complete with various kinds of sports memorabilia and highlight films for both baseball and softball. Baseball fans will also have the opportunity to purchase a copy of the 2003 Baseball Media Guide at the door for just $10.
A complete list of the auction items is currently available online at www.techhecklers.com. All proceeds from the auction and luncheon will go to the benefit of the baseball and softball programs.
