Tech Prepares for Busy Day at United Spirit Arena

LUBBOCK, Texas - In anticipation of an exciting day of basketball at the United Spirit Arena Sat., Jan. 18, Texas Tech officials would like to ensure that Texas Tech fans enjoy the game and make the transition from one game to the other as smooth as possible.
The 25th-ranked Red Raiders tip-off the day at 11:05 a.m. against Baylor, followed by the No. 7 Lady Raiders and Oklahoma State at 3 p.m. Doors for the men's game will open at 9:30 a.m., while doors for the women's game open at 2 p.m.
Following the men's game, fans will be asked to clear the seating area of the arena while United Spirit Arena personnel prepare for the Lady Raiders' game.
Texas Tech fans are encouraged to use the Citibus Park & Ride for $2 to avoid traffic congestion involving both games.
The first 1,500 students to each game will receive a t-shirt, while 5,000 Lady Raider Rally Towels will be handed out at the women's game.
