Baseball Promotions On Tap For New Mexico Weekend

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Athletics Department will sponsor several promotions this weekend to coincide with opening weekend for the 2003 baseball season.
The athletics department wishes to remind all Texas Tech students that home baseball game are free of charge when presenting a valid Texas Tech student ID. Texas Tech students are admitted free to all home athletic events as part of the athletic fee that was assessed last year.
Red Raider baseball fans are encouraged to be part of Coca-Cola Friday's, a season-long promotion that will reduce admission price at non-conference Friday games. Fans who bring any unused Coca-Cola product to the stadium will receive a coupon for $2 off the admission price with the unused Coke products going to the Lubbock Boys and Girls Club.
On Saturday, the first 500 fans to come through the gates at Dan Law Field will receive a special Double T car decal.
Texas Tech will battle New Mexico in the three-game series beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday and then again at 2 p.m. on Saturday before wrapping up the series at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
