Kolb Finishes Fourth at Arizona Silver Belle Championship

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech women's golfer Kim Kolb turned in a final round 71 to finish in fourth place in the 19-23 year old division at the 32nd Annual Joanne Winter Arizona Silver Belle Championship at The Karsten Course at Arizona State University in Tempe.
Kolb opened the tournament with a 79 and followed with a 75 in the second round. She finished seventh overall with a three-round total of 225. Kolb is currently a sophomore at Texas Tech.
The Arizona Silver Belle fields the top junior girls and women's amateur golfers between the ages of 13-23. The Silver Belle Championship was started in 1971 by LPGA Golf professional Joanne Winter to offer talented Arizona-area golfers an opportunity to compete. After 32 years, the championship has become one of the nation's leading winter events throughout the country.
