DALLAS — Texas Tech continued its steady climb up the leaderboard at the Huntington Bank Collegiate on Tuesday, finishing 11th at the event hosted by SMU at Trinity Forest Golf Club.
The Red Raiders improved their standing each round, moving from 17th after the opening round to 13th after 36 holes, and ultimately closing in 11th at 20-over 884 (304-288-292). After struggling with a 16-over first round, Texas Tech rebounded with an even-par 288 in Monday's second round, then capped the tournament with a 4-over 292 in the final round on Tuesday.
